Ken Gumbiner and Jeff Davis, partners with Higgins Benjamin, were named as members of the North Carolina Legal Elite for 2012, based upon a poll of North Carolina attorneys conducted by Business North Carolina magazine. Ken Gumbiner was recognized in the category of Litigation, and Jeff Davis was recognized in the category of Young Guns (Best Under 40).

 

Higgins Benjamin partner Ken Gumbiner was selected as a Super Lawyer in North Carolina Super Lawyers 2012 in the area of business litigation. Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.

 

Two Higgins Benjamin partners, Jeff Davis and Jenny Ledford, were recently selected as Rising Stars in North Carolina Super Lawyers 2012. Jeff Davis was selected in the area of business litigation and Jenny Ledford was selected in the area of consumer bankruptcy. While up to five percent of the lawyers in the state are named to Super Lawyers, no more than two and a half percent of attorneys are named to the Rising Stars list. Recognition as a Rising Star is open to candidates 40 years old or younger or who have been practicing for ten years or less.
