By the same token, we do not want our clients to spend good money (paying our fees!) futilely chasing after bad money, and we tell our clients when that outcome is about to befall them. We also represent creditors who have received demands from a bankruptcy trustee or Chapter 11 debtor to return preferential payments the creditor received shortly before the customer’s bankruptcy filing.
